This year was a great year for the Planet in many fronts, one of which was our media partnership with the A3C Festival in ATL. We met quite a few new people from rappers to producers to industry heads and new fans of the site. We made a promise to any emcee we met down there that if they submitted their music with a bio and a head shot, we would run it, regardless of genre. Some people thought we were joking and tried to stuff our pockets with their CD’s like it was Jack The Rapper or How Can I Be Down. They make nice coasters. Those that listened and sent in what we asked will all get their music on the site.

The first up is N.I.A. a rapper who actually used to intern with Grand Hustle and decided to strike it out on the mic. It’s hard out there for pimps and even harder for a lady rapper so to pursue this means a lot of heart and heartache. N.I.A. certainly has the guts for it. Here is some of her music which we hope you’ll enjoy and a shout out of good luck and grander hustle to her in this industry. Peace out.
