Planet Ill caught up with Brooklyn emcee Skyzoo down at the 2012 A3C Hip-Hop festival in Atlanta this past weekend on the heels of his latest album release, A Dream Deferred. We’ve been watching Skyzoo’s professional evolution since we opened our doors and in the time since 2009’s smash The Salvation he’s dropped a slew of tapes and a shared album with !llmind,  Live From The Tape Deck but his solo work has featured a very strong thematic bent, from The Great Debater to Theo Vs. JJ to A Dream Deferred.

We asked Skyzoo about these themes and whether or not they are connected. He gave us the real deal and now courtesy of technology we bring you the answers hopefully to any questions you may have. Planet Ill presents Skyzoo: A Dream Explained.
