It’s been a while since Flocka dropped his less than stellar sophomore album. The main critique on the work was that his trademark aggression was slighted by attempts at polishing up his sound and trying to get slick with it. It seems the Brick Squad Capo is coming back wit hthe intention of taking it back to the gutter on his latest tape, Salute Me or Shoot Me 4 – Banned From America.
In the grand scheme of things I don’t think that Flocka or his music are important enough to get him banned from anywhere, but there are times when his music cna change mood and emotion when you listne to it and get you hype. It’s worth a couple listens for that alone. Crank it loud if you hate your neighbors or you just want to get rowdy. Rest in peace to my man Barry B.
