If you are ex-Ohio State footballer-turned-attorney-turned rapper MekkaDon, you keep the pedal to the metal and drop more music. His latest project, It’s On features guest drops from Sway, features from MGK and Bizzy Bone and a bit of narration courtesy of Jas Prince.The tape is full of that high energy music to get you motivated, with hard rhyming, high bpm and good energy. Mekka has added a few new wrinkles into his skillset which leads to a much better listening experience than his debut, even though it’s not as tightly wound around a concept as some of his earlier work. This tape is suitable for that boost at the gym or riding around and getting it at high volumes (preferably in a residential area).
