Richmond, California is some rough shit man. It’s where Master P cut his teeth and learned the record game, and where one of my dear friends Regina Crockett was born and raised. Ratchet as fuck. But the Rich is also the dource of that go getter indie mentality and young hustler IAmSu! is getting that butter, with a recently released mixtape, KILT and a standout appearance on E-40’s “Function,” IamSu! drops the first vid from the tape with “2Milli.”

The video, directed by fellow HBK member Chito Floriano, was shot in the Rich and features real people from the hood, no models, no bottles. According to Su, “The theme of the video reflects lost childhood, and how prevalent it is for people where I’m from. In Richmond, you’re exposed to violence, drugs, and sex at such a young age – it forces you to grow up fast.”

Take a look at one of the rising cats from the Bay, functioning at a very high level. Peace.
