The Firing Squad:Junior Seau Gone, Maybach Music, NBA Playoffs, Farakhan, Krispy Kreme Crack

“Real journalism is publishing something someone else does not  want  published – the rest is just public relations.” George Orwell

With so much drama in the world today in our communities on both  macro and micro levels, it’s always strange to see the news or people  that claim to be journalists talking about all kinds of silly things and  never what’s going on. The Firing Squad is here to take aim at all that  is wrong with the world, starting with our own communities. Three men  of color with no censor and no objectives but truth, justice and common  sense. Each episode will deal with hot-button issues with honesty,  straight talk, and humor whenever possible . No personality is untouchable, and no one is spared the venom, or the praise whenever  fit. This week’s episode we talk the death of Junior Seau and what his loss means to football, his family and the community. What role did depression and those concussions have in his death?

From there we talk the Maybach Music press conference last week. Was it too much? Was it overblown? What part of the game is the vanity fest? Is Maybach O the business?

From there we get at the NBA Playoffs and the beatings that have ensued over the first week. Nice to hear MSG in a playoff atmosphere again (for however short it may be). Juste J hates on the playoffs because the Knicks ain’t shit. We address the Nets piss poor uniformas and the basic black and white color scheme. Hated it.
