Colors. The ones that adorn your favorite NFL unis carry the dreams and aspirations of cities across America. They carry the blood sweat and tears of men who inflict violence and risk their lives to entertain the people of the world. These colors reflect the pedigree of New England, the true grit of Baltimore, the Big Time of Dallas and all points that go along with each individual team. So when you see those colors and what they represent, you know that there’s no margin for error.
The Swoosh is now the maker of the NFL uniform and they left no stone unturned. They released pics of the new unis and while there is nothing visually that different, once you hone in on the details, you see the “war” allegory is not far-fetched. in keeping with the growing concern for players safety there is all kinds of padding and body armor, so much so that the photos almost look like superheroes, rather than real life athletes. Nike is apparently just as comfortable on the grass as it is on the hardwood floor that made it number 1. But don’t take our word for it. Check it out
