Yo… When I checked what Kimmel had going on last night I almost fell out of my chair.  Big Freedia?  On Kimmel?  With the bounce patrol in tow?  Woooow.

This might not be your cup of tea. Diva Freedia is a lot to take in and New Orleans bounce (sissy or not) isn’t on everyone’s radar.  But the idea of Kimmel hosting Freedia’s performance is pretty awesome.  This is the type of music that rarely sees light of day outside of it’s local confines. 

I knew Feedia was making some pretty big appearances including last year’s SXSW and getting looks from folks as far away as Europe, but it’s nice to see ole girl bouncing it up on one of the most popular late night shows on television.

So Excuse… and check her out.
