Jay Diamond, a UK representer who has documented her total immersion into NYC culture through her What the F-UK is NY Street!? video series was in the house last night for Pete Rock and Smif N Wessun’s release party for Monumental in Tammany Hall.  The show was going well and the crowd was enjoying the music, but outside the club was a different story.  Per Miss Diamond, a fight broke out outside which led the cops to come inside and shut Les Hotspot down.  The rest was caught on tape.

Rumors surfaced that Pete Rock’s wife and daughter were injured which thankfully turned out to be untrue, but all of this chaos could have led to some bad mornings.  I wasn’t there and the outbursts appear so random, that I can’t make heads or tails of it.  But Diamond gives you the run down.  Peep her experience.
