Cee-Lo Green is putting in a lot of work these days and he doesn’t appear to letting up anytime soon. Even when feeling a little libidinous, he runs to the booth. We have heard all kinds of suggestion from Ceelo and on his last mixtape, Stray Bullets he did unload a tune about the kitty. So it makes sense that a song about his schlong would pop up sooner or later.
“The Old Sauseej” is a lampoon of Broken Bells’ “The Ghost Inside,” and slithers through two minutes plus of some of the worst Johnson metaphors ever. When Ceelo begins, he sounds like the singing chef, soulfully giving some kitchen direction to someone trying to hook up a monster hot dog. As he moves along though, it becomes obvious that cooking a frankfurter is the last thing on his mind.
Even though he claims his sausage is exciting and what’s found inside will give you tons of sauseej pleasure, it’s not all fun and games. He’s always getting stopped at the airport because his sausage is ummm… a footlong. *sigh*
Anyway, it’s not like Ceelo is the first man to pen some lyrics about his pepe. There’s a long tradition of odes to the one eyed snake in music. Take a listen to “The Ol Sauseej” and then scroll down. You know we had to bring you the best of the best in dick dittys.
