IllSide Radio 9/21/2010-Carla Sarkozy Snitches, Lebron Most Hated, Wu-Wear Remembered

By Odeisel

The Planet, along with Chicago’s own Square-One of B-Side Radio, have joined forces to bring you the week in review in Hip-Hop and current events, along with the occasional special guest and some music to keep you moving through your day.

This episode of IllSide Radio deals with the aftermath of the Mid-term election in the US, including the situation with Charlie Rangel, the victories for Tea Party candidates, the lack of objectivity on Fox News and Sarah Palin’s place in the political landscape. Also on the political tip was France’s First Lady snitching on Michelle Obama.

From there, we get into Rah Digga’s Classic album and Black Milk’s Album Of The Year, after which we segue into Waka Flocka Flame and Lil Jon and whether or not it’s cool to be ignorant in the name of club music.

Also topics of discussion were the recent mini tour of Jay-Z and Eminem, and whether it would spark a return to huge Hip-Hop stadium tours, Cam’ron and Jim Jone’s “Toast” to Kanye and the aftermath of the MTV Video Music Awards.

We round up the show with the Most Hated Athlete list and why all of the top players are black, and whether women reporters have a place in the locker room. All and the 15th anniversary of Wu-Wear. All this and some dope music as always. Enjoy and give us some feedback
