If you are a raging Prince stan, your first inclination may be to download this song simply so you can burn it to a CD and then stomp it into little pieces.  Okay, maybe that was just my inclination. However, this song was floating around a few months ago minus the extra helping of Minneapolis’ finest and even the curmudgeonliest (yes, that’s a word) of the Rihanna haters had to admit it was dope; even yours truly.

Now the understated loop that was holding “Sexuality” together has been replaced by well…  almost the instrumental entirety of “Controversy” in bits and pieces. The hook has been manipulated and swings more to the “Sexuality” side than “Controversy.” There is some more voice manipulation making Miss Rhi Rhi’s sonic handling of the track smoother than normal and the intro is extra dope because Prince is extra dope. Is it better than either original?  Nope, but in my humble opinion, it’s still better than the entirety of Rihanna’s catalogue.

The lyrics are pretty self explanatory.  She’s hot and she wants some. Nothing much more to discus here.

Anyway, the original was good.  The Clique re-take is good and Prince is awesomeness wrapped in purple chaps and ruffles.  Enjoy all three. Shout to Sheena Beaston for the track.
