During their run in the early to mid 90s, Jodeci pioneered the lane of hood R & B that has colored the music ever since. Their demise as a group left a huge void that was eventually filled with Dru Hills, H-Towns, Jagged Edges and Jaheims; all attempting to master that hood harmony that Jodeci perfected. Currently there is a new entry into this lane, solo artist J.Blue, recent Universal Motown signee, who seems fully intent on bringing back that
