After many moons and a titanic tug of war over the bill itself and the accompanying bill, Congress came to a vote late Sunday night with the bill receiving 219 votes, 3 over the amount needed to push it forward.

More than 30 states are presently looking to fight the bill on the basis of it being unconsitutional on the basis that you can’t require Americans to buy a certain product. I  wonder how auto insurance slips through that reasoning.

Watch and celebrate or yell racial epithets at the screen.  Your choice.

  1. Car Insurance isn’t forced to people who don’t want to drive cars. Health Insurance is pretty much forced on everyone.

  2. In North Carolina and some other states you have to have insurance as soon as you get a license. Whether you own a car or not
