Welcome back folks.  We’re back with the good, the bad and the ugly of this week’s freestyles as the pen to pad (because we know dudes rarely come off the dome these days) to stolen track move keeps the Hip-Hop world spinning. So we are going to jump right in after a moment of silence for Jojo Simmons who just had his rap ass handed to him by his little brother Diggy.  I’m not sure if you caught the Digman’s freestyle over umm.. “Over,” but he just proved who inherited Dads gift of rhyme.

That brings us to The Bangz, a girl duo that’s making some noise out west. I’m not sure if they prove themselves with this song over Lil Wayne’s “Runnin.” However, it does prove that this track is manhandling everyone who uses it. There are points where the young lady hits the notes nicely, then other points, not so much.  Props to the J.u.s.t.i.c.e. League for crafting something so dope, it outshines everyone who tries their hand at it. Anyway, this is from The Bangz’ impending EP, Girl Riot.

No words for this one, lest I commence to stanning. Clay Davis is surgical with his mutherfukkin pen. Royce da 5′9″ also hits Drake’s new track and I think he knocked it into next week.

Now we have Red Café going over PLK’s “Beamer, Benz or Bentley” track.  I’m a bit disappointed that he didn’t change the title like..well everybody else.  However, that oversight does speak volumes about the general lack of creativity here. He gets cake, ask his hoe little Debbie.  Sigh. It’s short though, so don’t fret.  It will be over before you know it.

Kelz Lite aka Trey Songz is back, this time over Gucci’s “Lemonade.” As usual, he doesn’t sound bad, he just sounds like someone else and now he’s sounding like someone else over someone else’s track.  I like this better than the original though, even though he doesn’t really say much of anything.

Next is Twista over Aaliyah’s “One in a Million.”  This is from that new DJ Dibiase mixtape, Chi State of Mind.  One thing about Twista is he always sounds exactly the same.  Not that I’m complaining of course, just sayin. Funny how he runs out of words at the end, but he still does his thing though.

Finally is GhostWridah over the Reflection Eternal, J. Cole, Mos Def and Jay Electronica crazy posse cut from last year, “Just Begun.” It used to take balls to attempt a freestyle over a track held in such high esteem by the Hip Hop community, but now we know anyone will throw some shitty lyrics over anything. That’s not the case here though.  Mr. Wridah handles the Hi-Tek creation well. You can find this on Last Rights Presents: The House Fire.  Enjoy.

All Lil Wayne jokes aside, a year behind bars doesn’t sound comforting to anyone.  Make it through.  Make it back and follow the rules once you do. Check Mr. Carter out below in happier, syrup filled days.  RIP Rap City. Peace.
